This story wouldn't be complete without mentioning former members of our pack who have passed on.

Kwiguk's Kyamm Chancer at Montblanc (Kyamm)

Sadly Kyamm passed away aged only 22 mths from a Brain Hemorrage. Kyamm was a very important member of our pack she was second in command to myself then. She got up one morning with a huge headache and despite massive efforts from the humans Kyamm died of a Brain Haemorrhage. Which left the humans devastated especially the human daughter Samantha who had qualified Kyamm for Crufts that year. Myself also grieved for Kyamm for a few weeks and could not eat and was depressed, a huge hole had been left in our pack. Kyamm took part in all our activities and was a much loved and respected pack member who will always be with us in spirit.

 

 

Our Beloved  " Omar "

Montblanc Ambassador (Omar)

As you will see from our photographs Kimak and myself were only babies when we came to Montblanc. The human's first love was Pyrenean Mountain Dogs and Omar was from their only litter of Pyreneans they ever bred. He was so comfortable to curl up on and go to sleep on and we grew to love him very much. Sadly Omar took very ill with Gastric Torsion and passed away. Omar was only 5 years old. Had the human family not had us girls they would probably given up on canine companions.

Celtic Pac's Winter dance at Montblanc ( Chann)

Chann is now 12 years of age. He was my human's packs first Siberian husky, while they still had the Pyreneans. Chann was born in N. Ireland near where the human pack live. I know he was shown quite a bit and was also successful. Sadly Omar and himself didn't really see eye to eye, and I think Chann had a few run-in's with him. The Human Pack decided it was in Chann's best interests to go live with our very good human friends Gillian and Seamus where he is now Pack Leader I Believe. It was at this time our humans decided that they would only keep girls. Chann still comes to visit us and I know our humans always keep in touch with Chann's Humans they meet up also at shows near where Chann lives now.

Frankeda Bettina (Nisha)

One of the founder members of Montblanc was Nisha, also a Pyrenean Mountain dog and Mother of Omar. Nisha died last year aged 13 years. Nisha had a long and happy life. Some of the stories we were told about her were amazing, such as the one where she never had a lead on when out walking as she never left the human father's side. And how she lived and slept with cats. If you know anything about us Siberian Huskies you'll understand how we thought this was amazing.
